Animals in Myth

Post by CarmelaBear »

This thread is for those of us who love critters.

For inspiration, I found two illustrated tabletop books called "Cats of Myth" and "Dogs of Myth"

The Cats book is described at Booklist:

"The authors offer nine stories about cats, dividing them into categories such as the trickster cat, the guardian cat, the goddess cat. The tales come from many places and many times... "

Bear Worship (Ainu bear sacrifice. Japanese painting, 1870--Wikipedia).
