Using movies to promote awareness - The Ninth Gate

Post by Robbie1970 »

I've been studying Campbell's teachings for a few years...and I've been searching for a way to bring some of this amazing information to friends. I've made an experimental, short (5 min) film that breaks down some of the meaning of "The Ninth Gate"...if I can get enough interest I will tackle the entire movie. Looking for people to COLLABERATE with as well, so let me know if you have any expertise or ideas!

How do you make use of Campbell's ideas in this film, Robbie? :)

One thing I've taken from Campbell's teaching is to attempt to look beyond the literal appearance of things. I'm not adhering to any specific thought per se, but I think he would get a kick out of something like this!

This post has bugged me since posting. I've wanted to join the foundation, even attend an event, but it seems that there isn't enough activity or response. The dismissal style response wasn't welcoming, but alienating. *sigh*
