James,

thanks for link. It aired on TV in the UK a few weeks ago, but I'll definitely watch it again.

Hey guys.

One of the things I particularly liked about the documentary was the mention of the " Chitlin Circuit " influence early on in his development. I met Billy Cox briefly awhile back and had a wonderful conversation with him about the scene in Nashville in those days. One could certainly spend a lot of time on the internet scrolling through various footage about Jimi but I thought it might interesting to share some things that others got from his influence. Here is one from Billy:

Stone_Giant since you live on the British side maybe you have some interesting ones you like.

Al; Clemsy; perhaps you have some you might like to add as well.

Cheers :)

New Movie about Jimi Hendrix: " All Is By My Side "

I just saw this press article and wasn't sure if it would be of interest. It covers an important point in his career and the voice and mannerisms in the clip come eerily close. Choosing " South by Southwest " to unveil it in the States is pretty clever and it should create some buzz given the subject. The Writer-Director John Riley just came off the Academy Awards with " 12 years a Slave "; but there were some " Estate " problems to overcome in bringing it to fruition.

See what you think.

Apologies for the delay in getting back to you all and I hope the above is not a duplication of what others have posted.
