search engine for collected works

Post by Richard Kent Murray, Jr. »

Has anyone hooked up a good search engine to the Collected Works? I would be interested in purchasing basically an electronic study version of the Collected Works. I have only read a half dozen of the books, but I think it might be easier to study the whole thing, all the books, etc. electronically with a sophisticated search engine. Not just the exact words, but synonyms and negated antonyms, if possible, could search from the first page to the last of the Collected Works. The overwhelming nature of the task might be easier than it appears.

Hi Richard and welcome to the JCF Forums,

That is an interesting idea and I'll float it by the managing editor. However, it's execution will, no doubt, be determined by an expected outcome. I don't think all the works are currently digital.

And of course concern over the pirating of such a product would be significant.

I'll let you know, though.

Cheers,
