Please forgive me for butting in but I think that everybody

to post often but having an account seems vital.
Again, I hope you don't mind me telling my opinion on this
You made me smile, Ercan, because it's not like I haven't heard that one before. Twice I did give in to social pressure and set up Facebook accounts; each was deleted the next day. I'm not one either for twittering and tweeting and chattering in chat rooms, though I do check out JCF's Facebook to read quotes. I have a strong loner streak, you see, and 24-hour socializing most definitely is not my thing. Those opposites that Jung kept going on about--in my case I've had to learn how to balance my introverted "loner needs" with equally compelling "people needs" that I express through my work and care-taking of family and friends; when out of balance I tend to play the hermit for as long as I can get away with it. Still, I've always enjoyed the forum format.

Cindy,
I was thinking exactly the way you do -maybe two years ago.
But some time later, a natural disaster occurred and then I thought
it's good idea to keep a valid Facebook account.
Sorry again if I seem disturbingly admonishing
When my book is ready to become an e-book, I will go back to Facebook again, (as an author), but the personal Facebook page can become overwhelming very fast.

I'm fine, of course, if feeling worn out, but I was lucky this time around. (Not so last time, though.) My county was hit hardest in West Virginia, and many will be without electricity and water, even road access, until Sunday. Then factor in the overwhelming heat...
Indeed, Wild and Wonderful West Virginia.
(About WV. Except for my peripatetic 20s, I've lived most of my life in the regions shaded orange, purple, and olive.)

I had a t-shirt in my youth with a big heart in the middle and it was written 'Virginia is for lovers' so I always thought of Virginia as a romantic place
May you all recover soon
It so happens that I had to go through it all again the day after I wrote my last post. Within 24 hours of having my electricity and water restored, a thunder storm went through and knocked out my electricity again; at least I had water that time. It's been six hours now that I've had electricity and air conditioning again, so please cross your fingers for me since we're expecting another storm. Dealing with the heat has been exhausting, of course. Today it was a 102 degrees here.
And so you know, Virginia and West Virginia are separate states. West Virginia seceded from Virginia during the American Civil War.

Wow.. seems you have quite an adventure on your hands. Temperatures seem pretty similar to what we have here. Anyway, hope those evil storms go away soon.

And I live in Northern Virginia (abreivated NoVA) and although it is technically a part of Virginia, many "Virginians" consider this region separate unto itself.
But IMHO, there are still way too many Baptists around here for me.
We're also under another "warning"...we'll see what happens.
