Just don't mess with your current avatar, and you'll be fine. It's new members and those of us who try to change our avatars that are affected.

Hello friends,
Here's an article by Jonathan Amos from BBC telling what is a Venus
transit and why it is so rare. Our planet has to to wait until 2117
and 2125 for the next pair of events and they say that New Age people
are organizing vigils and celebrations on the occassion. So the exact
hours may be equally significant for meditation times. Thanks

For the most part, nermin, we use that space to keep tabs on moderation activities. We also talk about ideas for the board, just chit-chat, or a topical conversation might pop up. Yet the real excitement begins at midnight, Eastern time, on those days of especial occasion when the Council enters its virtual sanctum sanctorum, and we... Well, already I've shared too much.

Do you mean "December 1969"? Ha! That's another wacky thing this board has been up to lately.

'Coring [in Egypt is] like ice coring, but instead of layers of climate change, you're looking
for layers of human occupation'
says Sarah Parcak, an archaeologist and Egyptologist,
specializing in making the invisible past visible using 21st-century satellite technology.
There’s also some intro to Ancient Egyptian wisdom in her energetic less-than-6-minutes

Here's me again, folks;
Let me share a quick link to Nasa's Cindy mission about the atmospheric heartbeat
of our Planet.
Nasa's Cindy Mission, An Intro
At any given moment, about 2,000 thunderstorms roll over Earth,
producing some 50 flashes of lightning every second. Each lightning
burst creates electromagnetic waves that begin to circle around Earth
captured between Earth's surface and a boundary about 60 miles up.
Some of the waves – if they have just the right wavelength – combine, increasing
in strength, to create a repeating atmospheric heartbeat known as Schumann
resonance.
This resonance provides a useful tool to analyze Earth's weather, its electric
environment, and to even help determine what types of atoms and molecules exist
in Earth's atmosphere, but until now they have only ever been observed from below.

from Nasa website
(as you probably know, Cindy means 'Coupled Ion Neutral Dynamic Ynvestigation
in sceintific terminology)

Nope Nermin, what is that? What you quoted there was an answer about the Venus eclipse.
