Is it just me...

...or is there an increase in sun spot activity or some such thing? For two days it's been madness trying to post here because of the lagging.

There was some lag yesterday for me but nothing really serious. Today is fine.

Didn't notice anything unusual.

Never mind...

I bet it's because of the major bad weather that caused the tornadoes in NYC and storms in DC yesterday. We got a lot of rain and occasional strong winds, too, where I am in southwest WV, and this morning is gloomy and still rainy.

So, Neoplato, you didn't have problems yesterday being so near DC? Cool.

And I remember now Clemsy mentioning yesterday that he was having satellite problems, and he's in NY.

Unfortunately the biggest problem around here is that when we get one clap of thunder, the power may go out for three days.

I hear you. And here, too, if the wind blows, chances are good my electricity goes out. It's really frustrating. And since my neighborhood has a separate pump to pump water up the hill... This one was a major hassle when my girls were young. Anyway...

On second thought...

I've decided that whatever the issue is, it's not on my end. Something is up for me over the past two days at this site. I've had no problems elsewhere on the web. Too often, too, the lagging has evolved into freezing, and I have to restart my computer and come back...where I still have to deal with the lagging, so on it goes.

Sometimes this site does hang, but never to the point of freezing. It's a good idea to clear out your cache once in a while. That might help.

Been there, done that repeatedly just so you know, Clemsy. And I've not installed any new software lately, so I don't know what the heck is up. Anyway, tomorrow's another day, so I'll see if there's any change. Thanks. :)

Well, Clemsy, something is up here, I think. I got in early this morning and had the same experience as yesterday, then the last time I had to restart, I couldn't get back in for over 30 minutes. ("Website cannot be found" messages.) It's just this site, no place else that I've been on the web, and including the various links that access JCF. Still, I'm still checking everything that I can think of on my end, but so far nothing seems to make a difference.

What do you think?

Well, this morning, I received a site cannot be found. Thought the site was down and sent Stephen an email. Then asked JJ on FB to check from his end and all was well. Tried with Firefox and voila. Seemed to be a Google Chrome issue, which resolved itself by the time I got home from work.

Who knows?

What browser are you using?

Just so you know, Clemsy, it's been slow going for me here today, but not nearly as bad as the past few days were. :D

No idea, Cindy. Have you tried another browser or even another computer?
