I'm sure this is bound to have been discussed, but did anyone else notice that the dying old man in Big Fish is reading The Hero with 1,000 Faces? I had just got the book for x-mas and was reading it when I saw the movie. I flipped out when I thought I recognized it, and thoroughly lost my calm (in the theater) when a certain shot confirmed 100% it was indeed the book.

I Heart Huckabees is definitely at the very top my list of favorite movies ever.
Big Fish is on the list as well. It seems most of the movies on this list of mine would also be appropriate to bring up here.
In answer to your question Boddhi, "The Truman Show" comes immediately to mind. There are many others, it will just take a lil bit for them to bubble up.
Davepots: what an interesting observation! Thanks for pointing that out. It seems absolutely appropriate of course.
Enjoy,
