Thank you for your post. I wish we could help these people, but I think the only way to stop PTSD is to stop war. Wouldn't that be a wonderful accomplishment.

I'm sorry for your loss, Ron. Your poem is moving. Thank you for sharing it with us.

As you know, PTSD is not only about bombing wars between nations. Women (and men and children, too) experience severe and life-threatening PTSD as a consequence of domestic violence, rape, incest, sexual mutilation and other atrocities committed in the age-old war between genders.

There are many kinds of severe trauma that result in PTSD.
