Added this to my watch list. I don't have time to watch it right now but thanks. :)

Carmelabear,

This is my first visit to the JCF site and it feels like coming home.

I watched almost all of the beautiful videos posted here and thought about how to reply. I decided to treat the post like a Koan and say what comes to mind. Here goes:

For the transient, the eternal is sacred
For the eternal, the transient is sacred

The ocean cherishes the raindrop, and the raindrop yearns for the sea

(how Kabir-like)

.....Okay, now I'm seriously impressed. :!: ...Tell me, please, which ones did you skip? Personally, I cut out after a bit of the Rabbi's speech on Sacred Theater. I thought it was useful and then just copied the link for those who might find it enlightening. (Sorry, Rabbi. )

......Beautiful and true! Thank you for your contribution. It is clear that you come bearing gifts.

My favorite video is the one on Shamanism. It's long, but I especially like that it is more than ritual.

CarmelaBear,

Thank you for the thoughtful reply. I too skipped the one about Sacred Theater. My hobby is to devise a mythic image for everybody and because of this, I have a problem with the "I'm special and your not" Theolgies in any form.

The one on Shamanism I also skipped, but will revisit.

I very much enjoyed the videos about the caves in France. I have seen the Herzog movie "Cave of forgotten Dreams." It is excellent. It is too bad the cave was discovered after Dr. Campbell passed, he would have loved it.
